North Aston Organics
North Aston Organics has been supplying freshly harvested vegetables to Oxford and North Oxfordshire since 1998. Sat in middle of the Cherwell Valley, we grow almost the entire range of UK vegetables, so that our customers can experience the pleasures of seasonal eating all year round. Most crops are harvested within 24 hours of delivery, ensuring they arrive in peak condition, with maximum shelf-life.
We are Soil Association registered growers of organic vegetables, culinary herbs and some fruit. We produce healthy crops by working with nature to create healthy soils. Through the use of crop rotation, careful choice of vegetable varieties and the encouragement of predatory and parasitic insects, we are able to grow our crops without artificial fertilisers or pesticides.
Our crops are mainly sold via our box scheme and a monthly stall at Deddington Farmers' Market. We believe that this is the best way to get the produce to you as fresh as possible. It seems our loyal customers agree – some have been with us from the start!
We've always believed in the importance of the local economy (something only strengthened by recent world events), so where possible we use local suppliers and expertise, from tractor servicing to builders' merchants. When you buy from us, you're not only cutting down food miles but helping strengthen the web that makes up the local economy.
